In the 21st century, the world was headed for calamity.
Politics and religion are key, all the nations fight the wars for these.
These times of  lies, the planet rips apart and dies.
All across the wicked men, end our lives with the flick of there hands.

It's time, we see.

The end has come for you and me.
Humanities final hour.
We succumb to leaders with all the power.

lights out, times out. Armageddon sweeps across the land.
            Fading, erasing. Generations gone up in flames

I see this world were conflict swirls. A place were hate endures.
The land is scourged, the life is purged. The seas are boiling, the air is filled with germs.
Nothings left but the charred ground of atom. The clay men waste away.
In their dream land, with their techno man. Their empires ruled with no clans.
Fatal decision, nightmarish vision. The time of the kings blood rein ends.
An empty void, a world destroyed. Gone the way of the ancient dinosaurs.

I woke today and nothing changed. The world is closer to the  inferno flames.
It seems that man can't and won't be. So smart but filled with raw emotions.
Trapped inside his mind, he can't escape. From the beginning, a path was made, it's is fate.
This anger, hatred, a driving force, of human nature,  extinction course.
Lies , Lies , Murder , Lies,  everybody is gonna die.
On this path we choose were all gonna fry.
We can't go on like this society. Weapons of the generation destroy humanity.

So we are born into this world, empty vessels are minds to be filled.
With past down visions and dreams, of a life to be.
Some of enslavement, others to be free.
Morals are to be instilled, they grow from the seeds.
Subconscious thoughts, conflict with what we need.
These inner feelings, are thoughts we can't deny.
Suppressing these wants, burns from deep inside.

I lay here many of nights, contemplating what life's about.
A question asked so many times, a thought that crosses all our minds.
The ancient ones, have made their claims, from above a message came.
Now written into text, from long ago man worshiped it.
As the words of god, a passage of eternal love.
How can this be, from mortals like you and me.
Set it into stone,  a creation from fear we are alone.

We are alone -no one ever knows.

Now faced with what we fear, still no answers nothings clear.

ON THE BRINK

The time was 1962 - two worlds collide in the Caribbean sea.
The capitalist expose the communist plan - nuclear silos in the Cuban land.
A U2 plane snaps the shots - proof of the soviet move - sends shocks.
A president awakes - the white house shakes - with news of the Kremlin's power plan.
Missiles striking distance - 10 minutes away -an aggressive move - we must keep at bay.
Don't give in - And fold their hand - start with a blockade - make your demands.

Soviet subs off the coast - U.S. destroyers hunt the ghost.
Loaded with nukes - the reds descend - set to fire at a moments whim.

The socialist fear a mass invasion  20 to 1 Castro now wages.
The Russian general - the island commander - tactical nukes - are planned for the invaders.
B52's take to the air - loaded with bombs and refueled up there.
Times running out  - the world is scared- the east meets west - the eagle and the bear.
The game is up - this war is real - the leaders back down - it's time to deal.
The missiles are removed - and the peace will rein- the world can't forget - how close it came.

AWAKEN

I'm sorry for the things I've said to you, that broke your heart in two.
Every time we argue, wrong words I say that run you through.
I'm angry in my core, having patients is such a chore.
Your words stab back at me, with vengeance, I fire back some more.
What can be said about this, redundant state of madness.
Trapped in this phase, we fight until we are blue in the face.
In this place we can not succeed, locked in a stalemate you and me.
No where to go, but downward It now begins to show.

So we give up and go our ways, for this day.
To stubborn to let it go, we both know, we stay away.
Now a couple of days go by, we try to put it all behind.
It's brought back up again, the next time, our words commit to sin.
The fuel for the fire and then some, It's no fun.
to continue our feud, now hotter than before, still angry over this.

But how can we give it up, when we love each other oh so much.
All this time to waste, is a foolish path for us to under take.

ENEMY OF THE STATE

A peoples dictator has fallen, one man stands tall.
His friend commander of his armies, Administrator Mark Anthony.

Beloved by all, he gives the Eulogy, condemns the wrong for all to see.
In the night the people enter, raiders to the homes of the senators.
They attack the traitors and chase them away. Conspirators of Ceasar's death shall pay.
In  blood they now all bath, from the city they make their way.
Mark Anthony makes a demand, forces the senate to give him Brutus's land.
Refusing to surrender, two collide and fight for Sovereignty.

Long ago in the pagan time, a Emperor arose from the blood of those in line.
Wicked men rise. Killing each other for prize.

All across the ancient land, the armies fell against the roman clan.
From their hand, now slaves to the plan, all at his command, every single man.
From Gaius Julius Caesar, on to the young nephew Octavian, they ruled across the lands.

Now rise the future Emperor, Imperium power legal victor.
Sent to help Brutus defend, the killer of Caesar loses in the end.
With Anthony on the run, Octavian assumes command of the Army, and makes them one.
A critical moment he has won.

The young man enters the city, then takes the consulship of Rome.
His eight legions have insured his demand, no others make a stand.
But word has traveled out, that Brutus and Cassius have a master plan.
An assembled army at the Greek city inland. They form a pact Anthony, Octavian,
Lepidus the allies. They all move on the rogue army, crush Caesar's killers,
the coupe has failed. With Brutus's suicide, in Roman Octavian will reside.
Anthony to rule the Egyptian land, with Cleopatra he shall lye.

In time the truce was split, on to the sea's the armies are sent.
Destroyed in battle, begins his final descent.

At the door steps the winning kin, Egyptian rule comes to an abrupt end.
With their suicide's, the enemy of the state dies.
A child, hair to the throne. Killed on orders, that he rules alone.
The Empire rises to the glory of Rome.
Uncontested power, Augustus, ruler of the ancient world.
